Who we are
MyLocalReply is a review response management service operated in Ontario, Canada. When we say "we," "us," or "our," we mean MyLocalReply. When we say "you," we mean you as a user of our website or a client of our service.
What information we collect
When you enquire about or sign up for our service, we may collect:
- Your name, email address, and phone number
- Your business name and address
- Access to your Google Business Profile (with your explicit consent) for the purpose of reading reviews and posting responses on your behalf
- Payment information processed securely through Stripe — we never store your credit card details directly
When you visit our website, we may collect basic analytics data such as pages visited and referring source. We do not use tracking cookies for advertising purposes.
How we use your information
We use the information we collect to:
- Provide our review response service — reading your Google reviews and posting approved responses on your behalf
- Send you SMS alerts when negative reviews are detected on your profile
- Send you weekly review summary emails
- Process your monthly subscription payments
- Communicate with you about your account and our service
Third-party services
We use a small number of trusted third-party services to deliver our product:
- Google Business Profile API — to read your reviews and post responses (with your consent)
- Stripe — to process subscription payments securely
- Twilio — to send SMS notifications about negative reviews
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes.
Google Business Profile access
When you connect your Google Business Profile to our service, we gain the ability to read your reviews and post responses as the business owner. We will only use this access to provide the service you have subscribed to. You retain full ownership of your Google Business Profile at all times and can revoke our access at any point by removing us as a Manager or disconnecting via your Google account settings.
Data retention
We retain your account information and review response history for as long as your account is active. If you cancel your subscription, we will retain your data for up to 90 days in case you wish to reactivate, after which it will be permanently deleted. You may request immediate deletion of your data at any time by contacting us.
Your rights
You have the right to:
- Access the personal information we hold about you
- Request correction of any inaccurate information
- Request deletion of your data
- Revoke Google Business Profile access at any time
- Unsubscribe from any marketing communications
Security
We take reasonable measures to protect your information, including encrypted data transmission (SSL/TLS), secure authentication for our systems, and limited access to personal data on a need-to-know basis. No system is completely secure, but we take the protection of your information seriously.
Changes to this policy
We may update this privacy policy from time to time. If we make significant changes, we will notify you by email. The "last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision.
